The Loach Guidewire for Interventional Radiology and Urological Catheter Navigation is designed to provide smooth, controlled access during catheter-based procedures in both urology and interventional radiology. Featuring a lubricious hydrophilic or PTFE coating, the guidewire minimizes resistance through complex anatomies, allowing for accurate and atraumatic advancement.
Its highly flexible shaft-constructed with a Nitinol or stainless steel core-ensures excellent torque transmission while maintaining kink resistance. The soft, atraumatic tip (available in straight or J configurations) facilitates safe passage through tortuous ureters or vascular pathways, minimizing trauma to surrounding tissues.
This guidewire is ideal for applications such as ureteral stenting, catheter insertion, angiography, and drainage tube placement, supporting both urological and vascular access in minimally invasive procedures.
Dual-Discipline Design: Suitable for both interventional radiology and urology
Hydrophilic or PTFE Coating: Provides smooth, low-friction navigation
Flexible Core Options: Nitinol or 304 stainless steel for optimal balance of pushability and flexibility
Atraumatic Tip: Available in J-tip or straight tip for safe anatomical navigation
