The Stainless Steel Diagnostic Guidewire is engineered for precision and control in vascular and non-vascular diagnostic procedures. Constructed from high-tensile stainless steel, the guidewire delivers optimal torque transmission, kink resistance, and tactile feedback. It is compatible with the Seldinger technique, a widely used method for gaining safe access to blood vessels and body cavities.
This guidewire is designed for use in conjunction with the Seldinger technique, an essential method in interventional medicine. After vessel access is achieved with a hollow needle, the guidewire is advanced through the needle into the vessel, followed by catheter or sheath insertion. The guidewire's flexibility and radiopacity provide excellent visibility and safety during this critical step.
Benefits in Seldinger Technique use:
Smooth PTFE coating (optional) for reduced vessel trauma
Atraumatic distal tip to minimize perforation risk
Excellent torque control for accurate advancement
